Rick Springfield, the Australian singer-songwriter behind classic hits like “Jessie’s Girl,” just released a new album, and like many other artists decided to take to New York City to promote it.
Springfield, however, took a drastically different approach than most established artists. Instead of a big budget marketing campaign and blowout concert, the rocker decided to head underground to the city’s subway system.
A great example of how to take your music to the people. It inspires me to think about the possibility of busking 🙂
